Notis Iliopoulos is currently the Director for Cyber Security Services at Neurosoft S.A.
During his twenty-four years of Information Security experience, he has been in positions of increasing responsibility, in the areas of information security consulting, and serving as a CISO, in Greece, the Balkans and the Middle East.
He holds an MSc degree in Information Security from the Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MSc degree in Management of Business Innovation & Technology. He has also received the following professional certifications CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor, CISM: Certified Information Security Manager & ISO27001 Lead Auditor.
Notis has been involved in the Initial establishment & operation of 6 business units, providing information security consulting services, and 2 corporate information security departments (for Telco & Financial services Companies).
His professional experience includes implementation of various information security projects in many different critical operational environments. Some of the challenging types of projects he has been managed are Risk & Compliance Assessments, Data Classification, Critical Data Protection, Development & Implementation of Information Security Management Systems, Information Access Governance, Data Leakage, ISMS & BCMS Implementation & Certification, and Information Security for Critical Infrastructure & Smart Cities.
His research interests include Information & Cyber Resilience, Risk Assessment Methods and Techniques, Protection of Privacy and Personal Data, and Methods and Techniques for User Authentication. His current research efforts are towards the Convergence of Digital & Physical Security on the Corporate environment & the holistic approach to Security Risk Management.
