Scott Walker is an Associate Professor of International Relations in the Department of Government and Society at the United Arab Emirates University. His research interests include democratization, human rights, and American Foreign Policy. He has published in such journals as Human Rights Quarterly, Journal of Human Rights, International Interactions, Conflict Management and Peace Science, and Electoral Studies. His 2019 book, American Foreign Policy and Forced Regime Change Since World War II: Forcing Freedom, critically assesses America’s efforts to install democracy by force.
