Dhahi Khalfan Tamim is a Lieutenant General and the current Deputy Chief of Police and General Security. He was chief of the Dubai Police Force until the end of 2013. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim was born in Dubai on October 1st, 1951. He attended the Royal Police College in Amman, Jordan in 1970.

Call for Papers

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) will be hosting and organizing the 3rd International Arabian Gulf-Security Conference under the patronage of Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Lieutenant General and the current Deputy Chief of Police and General Security. The conference seeks to provide a platform for researchers to present and discuss recent developments, trends, and challenges accenting the world order whether politically, socially, or economically. Participants involved in the IAGSC are welcome to discuss and present research examining the possible strategies and solutions in the field of International Relations and International Law by considering Global affairs generally, and the Arabian Gulf region specifically.

The American University in the Emirates and its College of Security and Global Studies are committed to research and the need to increase high-quality intellectual and scientific production in the UAE. This call for abstract presentation and paper publication invites researchers to join us at the 3rd International Arabian Gulf Security Conference.

  • Full manuscripts will be considered for possible publication in 2 SCOPUS indexed journals following peer-review.

Please note that, in order to finalize the scientific program in due time, at least one registration by any of the authors, denoted as Covering Author, is required to cover the presentation and publication of any accepted abstract. Covering Author registration deadline is 17th February 2023.
